Pod Łososiem

Pod Lososiem is a restaurant with a long tradition and history, the roots of which date back to the last years of the sixteenth century. The biggest assets today are the interiors. The restaurant was decorated in an 18th-century Rococo style full of antiques, paintings, and old furniture. There are three multi-level dining rooms for more than 100 people. The menu includes traditional Polish dishes. The restaurant offers also famous Goldwasser ( herbal liqueur containing small flakes of 22 karat gold) which is strictly connected with this place. In 1598 Dutchman Ambroży Vermollen establish there an inn and a liqueur factory, and the Goldwasser was its most popular product.

Prologue Restaurant

The Prologue restaurant is located on the Motława River in a charming building built on the ruins of the Teutonic castle from the 13th century. Although the walls are old, the interior of the restaurant is modern and elegant. The menu card is - as the owners say - creative and differs depending on the season. It is based on Mediterranean and South-French cuisine. The specialty of the restaurant is also bread - sourdough, which is made thanks to natural fermentation and is hand-formed. The Prologue also offers a wide wine list.

Gdański Bowke

Gdanski Bowke is the restaurant that refers to the Gdansk tradition. It specializes in polish traditional cuisine. The restaurant serves a local brewery Gdanski Bowke - prepared by a local brewery exclusively for the restaurant. The interior of this place - according to the owners - refers to the traditional atmosphere of the Old Gdansk port with the photos and advertisement made before Second World War on the walls, and heavy wooden tables and benches as well as a solid, big bar.

Pierogarnia Mandu Centrum

Pierogarnia Mandu is a restaurant specializing in dumplings, one of the Polish national dishes. It is located in a halfway between main railway station and Dluga street in the center of Gdansk. The restaurant offers many different kinds of dumplings - boiled on water, baked and sweet. There are also dumplings from other parts of the world e.g. Korean's Mandu, and Georgian's Khinkali. All of them are prepared in front of the guests. The restaurant also offers soups, salads, desserts, and many kinds of teas. The second Mandu restaurant is located in Oliva, another part of Gdansk.

Familia Bistro Garbary

Bistro Familia served traditional Vilnius cuisine. According to the restaurant owner, all the recipes come from his family's indescribable cookbook. Each of the dishes was prepared earlier either by the mother or grandmother of the owner, who lived in Vilnius. Vilnius, today capital of Lithuania, before the Second World War belonged to Poland. The specialty of the restaurant is dumplings: Kibiny with crispy pastry, Manty – steamed dumplings, and Kolduny. In a menu, it is to find also Czanachy - a kind of beef stew and a couple of soups.

Thai Thai

The restaurant is located in one of the oldest buildings in Gdansk. It was built around 1300 and it was initially used as a coach house for the Golden Gate building. During the Teutonian Orders, it was rebuilt into an inn. The interior is a mix of elegant Thai arrangement and the old coach house walls. The restaurant offers an extensive menu from many different parts of Thailand. The dishes are prepared only by Thai chefs.

Restauracja Bazar

Bazar Restaurant offers traditional polish cuisine but in the modern version. The menu includes a lot of fish dishes (zander, cod, salmon, halibut) as well as dumplings, and dishes for vegetarians. An additional advantage of the restaurant is the view of the Motława River and the old Gdańsk.

The restaurant has an extensive wine list containing 160 species from around the world. It offers also a breakfast not only in the morning but on the client's request, even in the late evening.

Winne Grono

The restaurant is localized in the center of the city and specializes in French and Italian cuisine. But as it is written on the official webpage it is also a polish cuisine in the modern version. The restaurant has an extensive card of wines (more than 100 different types) most of them imported directly from Italy and French. The Winne Grono has also a special menu for children, as well as the playground.

The Kabaret Ewan is a popular nightclub in Gdansk. Every day from 9 pm show for adults take place with the female dance group and invited artists.
